Femke - "I'm Still Here"

Femke Shares Lush Acoustic Single, “I’m Still Here”

Having a diverse set of skills is one of the keys to a long, successful career in the music business. Producer, songwriter and artist Femke is a great example of this. A Dutch native, she moved to the USA 10 years ago and began working as a composer and musician on ABC’s “10 Things I Hate About You” and sang on the soundtrack of the movie “Fired Up” with Mark Hoppus from Blink 182. Not a bad start! Femke then went on to win a Latin Grammy for her work on the “Transformacion” album of Beto Cuevas. Since 2012 she has been living and working in Nashville.

On her latest single, “I’m Still Here”, Femke takes us on an intimate look inward on a song written to help her stay grounded during an increasingly tumultuous world. On this beautifully constructed acoustic-driven track, Femke shines with a sublime vocal performance surrounded by subtle strings and lush guitars.

On “I’m Still Here” Femke said:

“I’m sure everyone knows that feeling of feeling invisible, and I wrote this song to remind myself that I’m still here, even if, in the chaos of the world sometimes it feels you’re not.”
